As a self-directed project, I chose to create a physical music release for a hypothetical compilation album by the pop punk band No Pressure. Drawing inspiration from gritty DIY zines of the past, the imagery is rough around the edges yet playful, reflecting the sound and approach of the band’s performances and style. All of the typography was created by hand to further contribute to this look. In addition, I created a lyric video for the band’s song “Deal” that utilizes the same visual elements and typography as the packaging to tie both pieces together.
